The office calls you

Walk them through your background: awards, publications, press, your role, your salary. Have your CV handy if you can.

Whether EB-1 fits, or another path like the EB-2 NIW fits better, what it looks like, and what it would cost. If it's not a fit, they'll tell you that too.

Your future shouldn't depend on one employer.

  • Your visa is tied to one job, and a layoff would put everything at risk.
  • You've entered the H-1B lottery and your future came down to chance.
  • You assume you're "not famous enough" to qualify.
  • You've read the 10 criteria and can't tell how your record measures up.

Who you'll be talking to

Solomon Musyimi

Solomon Musyimi has practiced law since 2002 and founded the firm in Southwest Houston to serve the city's immigrant community, from Latin America, from Africa, and everywhere in between, in their own language.

For professionals, the firm builds the petition around your strongest evidence: the criteria you meet, letters from experts in your field, and a clear story of why your work matters. Everything gets organized before filing, because EB-1 cases are won on how the evidence is presented.

Why a licensed law office

EB-1 cases are won on the evidence.

A strong career isn't enough on its own. The petition has to show USCIS exactly how your record meets the criteria. Templates and document preparers can't build that argument for you.

Common questions

Before you book.

What is the 10-minute call for?
To see if your profile fits the EB-1, or if another path like the EB-2 National Interest Waiver fits better. You describe your background, the office tells you whether it can help and what the next step would be. No obligation. Fees are explained before you decide anything.
Do I need a job offer or an employer to sponsor me?
For the EB-1A (extraordinary ability), no. You can file for yourself. The EB-1B (outstanding professors and researchers) needs a qualifying U.S. employer offer, and the EB-1C (multinational managers and executives) is filed by your company.
How do I qualify for the EB-1A?
Either a major, internationally recognized award, or evidence that meets at least 3 of 10 criteria set by USCIS. Examples include awards, membership in selective associations, press about your work, judging others' work, original contributions of major significance, scholarly articles, a leading or critical role at a distinguished organization, and a high salary. USCIS then looks at your record as a whole.
Do I have to be famous?
No. Most people who qualify aren't household names. What matters is evidence that you're recognized as one of the top people in your specific field.
Can my family get green cards too?
Yes. Your spouse and unmarried children under 21 can generally be included in your case.
How long does it take?
It depends on your country of birth and whether premium processing is used. Premium processing can speed up the decision on your petition. People born in some countries, such as India and China, may face a longer wait for their green card. The call will tell you what to expect in your situation.

Your career already did the work.

Ten minutes to see if your record qualifies for an EB-1 green card, or if another path fits better. Pick a time and the office calls you.
