What happens after you book

Three steps. Ten minutes.

No forms to fill out and nothing to prepare. Just what you already know about your situation, and ten minutes to see if it's a good fit.

1

Pick a time on the calendar

Takes under a minute. Openings weekdays 12–5 and Saturdays 12–2. A confirmation text goes to your phone.

2

The office calls you

At the number you gave, in the language you chose. You describe your situation in your own words.

3

You both decide if it's a fit

Whether the firm can help, what the path looks like, and what it would cost. If it's not a fit, they'll tell you that too.

This call is for you if

You may qualify faster than you think.

Spouse, parent, or child of a U.S. citizen — even if undocumented today
Entered legally and want a green card without leaving the U.S.
Ready to apply for citizenship and want the interview done right
Came here because it wasn't safe to stay home
Need a work permit, renewal, or waiver
Have a case that's been stuck past the processing time
Sound familiar?

Stop carrying the question alone.

  • You've had an immigration question for years and never put it in front of a lawyer.
  • A notario or document preparer handled your paperwork and you're not sure it was done right.
  • Your receipt number hasn't moved in months and nobody will tell you why.
  • You're worried about the citizenship interview — travel dates, taxes, old filings.
  • You need someone who speaks your language — English, Spanish, or Swahili — and is open on Saturdays.

Who you'll be talking to

Solomon Musyimi

Solomon Musyimi has practiced law since 2002 and founded the firm in Southwest Houston to serve the city's immigrant families — from Latin America, from Africa, and everywhere in between — in their own language.

His view is simple: every family deserves to have their situation evaluated honestly. When someone sits down with the firm, they hear plainly whether and how it can help. That's why so much of the practice comes by referral from former clients and their relatives.

Why a licensed law office

A notario is not a lawyer.

Every year Houston families pay hundreds, sometimes thousands, to notarios and document preparers. When something goes wrong, they're gone.

Notarios & document preparers

  • Not licensed to give legal advice
  • Forms filed wrong, deadlines missed
  • No one to answer when a denial comes
  • Can't represent you before USCIS or a judge

Law Firm of Solomon Musyimi

  • Licensed attorney reviews your case
  • Full record checked before anything is filed
  • Represents you before USCIS and immigration court
  • Same office since 2002 — in your language

Common questions

Before you book.

What is the 10-minute call for?
To see if it's a good fit. You describe your situation, the office tells you whether it can help and what the next step would be. There's no charge for the call and no obligation. If your case moves forward, fees are explained before you decide anything.
Can I speak in my own language?
Yes. Calls are available in English, Spanish, and Swahili. Say which language you prefer when you book.
I'm undocumented. Should I still call?
Yes. Some of the people who qualify fastest for a green card — the spouse, parent, or child of a U.S. citizen — are undocumented today. The call is confidential, and the point of it is to find out what options exist for you.
My case has been stuck for months. Is that something you handle?
Yes. When a green card, work permit renewal, or citizenship case has sat past the posted processing time, there are ways to follow up that the agency answers, and legal tools that can require a decision. Bring your receipt number to the call.
A notario filed my paperwork. Can you look at it?
Yes, and the sooner the better. If you think a past filing has a mistake in it, a licensed attorney reviewing it early gives you the most options.
What should I have ready?
Whatever you have: a receipt number, any letters or notices from immigration, and a rough idea of when you arrived and how. If you don't have any of that, call anyway.

Your question doesn't have to wait another year.

Ten minutes, in your language, to see if it's a good fit. Pick a time and the office calls you.
